Easily adapted to vegetarian
Hawaiian muffin pizzas are a great way to use up leftovers or the last tomatoes, cheese, onion, Better Naked bacon or ham in the fridge. No waste!
They can be eaten cold so are perfect for school lunch boxes.
Top the muffin with a thin layer of tomato purée, sprinkle some Italian herbs, add some finely diced tomato, onion and ham or grilled bacon.
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Bake in the oven oven for 10 mins at 180C – then leave to cool.
Serve with salad or enjoy on their own.
You can use any type of bread, just not fresh bread as it’s too soft! If using a tortilla wrap, roll it up when it’s warm then cut in half. It become crispy when cool.
